Xabi Alonso: The semifinals will be very intense

"Our games against Barcelona are now a fact and we'll have to go for them"

Xabi Alonso talked about the Champions League semifinals against Barcelona after defeating Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. 

"There's been a lot of talk about our games with Barcelona, but it was all mere speculation till today. These games are now a fact and we'll have to go for them. Both teams know each other very well and I'm sure the semifinals will be very intense."

"We'll have to take things slowly because that's the formula to success. We will now enjoy this victory and our reaching the next round. We will begin to prepare for Saturday's match tomorrow."
